LIFE Church and the LIGHT Center for Family Enrichment are pleased to announce a partnership with The Louisville Urban League's Mature Worker Program (a local federally funded program) authorized by the Older Americans Act) to provide sub-sidized, service-based training for low-income, unemployed per-sons 55 or older.
The goal of the program is to provide workers with on-the-job training to help you develop the skills and confidence to ultimately find unsubsidized employment.

Participants are placed in a wide variety of community service activities at non-profit and public facilities and paid to be trained by those agencies 5 - 18 hours weekly
