DESCRIPTION:Are you a resident of Oldham County?\n\n55 or older?\n\nCurrently unemployed seeking employment?\n\n\n\nLIFE Church and the LIGHT Center for Family Enrichment are pleased to announce a partnership with The Louisville Urban League's Mature Worker Program (a local federally funded program) authorized by the Older Americans Act) to provide sub-sidized\, service-based training for low-income\, unemployed per-sons 55 or older.\n\nThe goal of the program is to provide workers with on-the-job training to help you develop the skills and confidence to ultimately find unsubsidized employment.\n\n\n\nParticipants are placed in a wide variety of community service activities at non-profit and public facilities and paid to be trained by those agencies 5 - 18 hours weekly\n\n\n\nInformation session Thursday 30 April 11:00 AM at Life Church in LaGrange.\n\nBring proof of family income and family size for location and further information\n\nemail: matureworkersprogramoldham@gmail.com\n\n\n\nor call Life Church - 502.265.3795
