Brown-Forman Corporation and Foxhollow Farm will present the 2nd annual Farm to Table Dinner, hosted by Yew Dell Botanical Gardens (YDBG) and Slow Food Bluegrass on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 6:30. The event will take place at YDBG, 6220 Old LaGrange Road, Crestwood, KY. Dinner will be prepared by the talented Kathy Cary of Lilly’s Restaurant. She will be working her magic with ingredients from 16 local farmers, who will be on hand to talk about their commitment to their products. Other local purveyors participating include: Smith-Berry wines, Brown-Forman bourbon, BBC beer and the Comfy Cow. Dozens of Dollars will complete the Kentucky connection with bluegrass music.
Farm to Table Dinners have become increasing popular and offer people the opportunity to learn about the importance of supporting our locally grown food producers. There will be ample opportunity to learn more about the Farm to Table movement at this event.
