Do you have a secret desire to be a published author? Have you created the next great American novel? Have you been swimming upstream, trying to get a Publisher to even look at you? Otherworld Publications, LLC in collaboration with La Venture Station invites you to swallow those nerves, dust off the manuscript and Pitch the Publisher in beautiful, historic downtown La Grange, Kentucky. On Saturday, November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Pitch the Publisher will offer potential authors a unique opportunity to present their book ideas to several local publishing companies. Authors will have ten minutes to Pitch, and then have fifteen minutes for suggestions and feedback on how to develop book ideas or manuscripts for publication. This is the chance you've been waiting for to catch the attention of a publisher who might be interested in publishing your work. *** At the time of registration, the author will need to submit a short bio, synopsis, and first chapter. These items will be forwarded to the Publisher of choice for review prior to the Pitch Session. Please bring a copy of these items with you and anything thing else you'll need to help win over the publishing company. Good luck!
