Charles Dickens's classic novel comes to life on the stage in this moving play that is equal parts comedy and tragedy, adventure and humanity. The story follows the adventures of an orphan redeemed from a life of cruel poverty and crime by an act of unselfish courage. Its major characters—Fagin, the menacing Bill Sikes, the comical Mr. Bumble, kind-hearted Nancy, and the Artful Dodger—are some of the most theatrically realized characters in all of literature.
