Position: Registered Behavior Technician
Location: Harmony Behavioral Services, Crestwood, KY
Reports to: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Director of Clinical Practice, Director of Training and Development, and Clinical Director
Availability:
- Full-Time: We focus primarily on full-time staff working set clinic hours (8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri) but can make accommodations for part-time employees.
- Part-Time: Part-time hires must be able to work either the AM session (8am-12pm) or the PM session (1pm-4:30pm) Monday-Friday.

Position Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care. They follow structured directions from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality early intervention programming to children diagnosed with autism. They teach language, social, play, and functional living skills.

General Responsibilities:
- Uphold all Harmony Core Values
- Uphold all BACB standards (e.g., Ethics Code, documentation of supervision, etc.)
- Manages direct (with client) and indirect (without client) time appropriately
- Manage client and company materials needed to complete session
- Attend clinic meetings
- Attend performance evaluation meetings and/or check- in meetings
- Attend company trainings
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Follow the session plan appropriately
- Conduct learning trials with clients
- Record and graphically depict data
- Develop a strong relationship with clients
- Engage in fun, creative play with clients
- Provide assistance with daily life skills and toileting to clients
- Seek supervision when needed
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Complete tasks to help clinical programming or management of the clinic as directed by any team member of a higher ranking
- Complete progress notes and upload to patient management software
- Manage supervision documents pertaining to your training
- Respond timely to electronic communication

Required Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move without difficulty
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with special needs highly desired
- RBT certification highly desired
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Related Training:
Responsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and training once employed including, but not limited to: CPR, Safety Care, initial and recertification of credentials and company training opportunities. Harmony Behavioral Services, LLC will pay for CPR training, initial and renewal certifications, and other company training opportunities.
