DESCRIPTION:Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful adaptation of L. Frank Baum's beloved tale\, featuring the iconic musical score from the classic MGM film! This timeless tale follows young Dorothy Gale as she travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz with her little dog Toto. There she meets a variety of colorful characters including the Scarecrow\, Tin Man\, Cowardly Lion\, Glinda the Good Witch\, the Munchkins and of course The Wicked Witch of the West. Following the storyline of the classic movie\, this stage musical features additional songs and ensemble numbers\, sure to delight audience members of all ages.\n\n\n\nStage musical\, performed by adults and students of all ages\n\nApproximate running time: 2 hours +intermission\n\nRecommended audience: All ages\n\n\n\nSaturday\, July 27 only: Add to the experience by joining us for a "Meet the Characters" event including a Chick-Fil-A meal\, dance lesson\, and activities with the Wizard of Oz characters!\n\nSession I: 1:30-3:00pm\n\nSession II: 5:00-6:30pm\n\nTickets: $20 All proceeds go to community programming.\n\nhttps://tinyurl.com/OzCharacterEvent
