SUMMARY:Summer Family Fun Fest and Kid-Owned Business Expo
DESCRIPTION:CityPlace Expo Center is pleased to announce the sixth annual Summer Family Fun Fest and the return of the Kid-Owned Business Expo. Proceeds from the day will benefit the Max Emerson\, Champions Find a Way Foundation.  The event runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on SATURDAY\, June 15.\n\nAdmission is free.\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to learn about local entertainment options for families.  They can also meet providers of children's services and participate in a day of family-friendly fun. Young entrepreneurs are encouraged to showcase their products and services at the Vendor Expo. They will also have the opportunity to participate in our "Treasure Tank" Competition\, based on the popular TV show\, "Shark Tank". Kids can present their business concept and product samples to our panel of "Treasure Hunters". These are representatives from local businesses who are sponsoring the event. The top 2 businesses in two age categories (Teen Tank: Ages 12   17) and (Tiny Tank: Ages 11 and Under) will win a cash prize to help them grow their business.\n\nSponsorship fees can be paid directly to the Champions Find a Way Foundation which was established to celebrate the legacy of a popular Oldham County teacher\, coach and athlete. Funds raised by the Foundation go to provide charitable\, benevolent and financial assistance to children\, teens and young adults who face barriers in achieving personal and financial goals. Sponsorship fees should be paid as a charitable contribution by Venmo\, PayPal or Credit Card. Monetary donations will also be accepted at the door.
