SUMMARY:Healthy Living and Giving Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Healthy Living and Giving interactive health fair combines medical expertise\, education\, resources and screenings along with a chance to give back to our community.  The event\, presented by Baptist Health La Grange will be held at CityPlace Expo Center on Saturday\, November 5 from 9 am to 1 pm. Attendees can meet local health care providers\, get ideas on nutrition and exercise\, participate in various health screenings\, and more. There will be something for all ages.  \n\n	Kids will love the teddy bear health clinic\, visiting the firetruck and ambulance and racing on the inflatable obstacle course. \n	Guests of all ages can enjoy an entertainment line-up that includes musical entertainment\, sports demonstrations\, and getting ideas on healthy cooking and gardening\n	Families can learn through interactive experiences about topics such as newborn care\, healthy hand washing\, first aid and more.\n\nWhile admission is FREE\, attendees are asked to bring one canned good per person. All goods collected will be donated to HighPoint Charitable Services\, a food pantry located in LaGrange. HighPoint is a volunteer-driven organization working to bring wholeness to the community\, share the gospel and meet physical needs. HighPoint supports over 600 households each month with basic needs.  HighPoint also offers higher-level support through client advocacy\, case management\, life skills classes\, mental health services\, and spiritual health services to educate\, empower and equip families for future success.
