DESCRIPTION:Oldham County's very own Q&A Sweet Treats will be vying for the coveted People's Choice Award\, so come and vote for you home town hero\n\n\n\n\n\nOn February 26\, 2014 Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana will host its 8th Annual\n\nDesserts First. Louisville's finest restaurant chefs will create original desserts\, signature\n\ndrinks and hors d'oeuvres using the well-known Girl Scout Cookie varieties as the key\n\ningredient. The chefs will gather and present their creations for tasting at Mellwood Arts\n\nCenter for an evening networking event.\n\n \n\nThis year Desserts First will celebrate the Science of Cooking! Science\, technology\,\n\nengineering\, and math (STEM) programs will be at the forefront of Girl Scout\n\nactivities during 2014\, and we're excited to showcase what our chefs already know  \n\nthere is a great deal of science involved in every aspect of cooking! We're sure our chefs\n\nwill enjoy highlighting the ways they use science in the kitchen.\n\n \n\nDesserts First is a fundraiser where adult guests sample exclusive culinary creations and\n\nenjoy an evening with friends. The evening will also include drinks\, music\, and\n\nhors d'oeuvres. Desserts will be judged by local culinary experts and the best dessert and\n\nhors d'oeuvres will receive awards.
