SUMMARY:Farm Life Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Learn about life on the farm. Experience things the way they used to be "in the good old days"! Many of these activities will take place in the Dahlgren Pioneer Barn. Learn about hearth cooking\, animals\, making your own clothes\, and everyday survival by using only what you had on the farm or what you could make. Participants will also explore the museum and the Root Cellar. Lots of activities in a hands-on two day camp for those who like exploring new things and being outside. Led by Helen E. McKinney\, Educator/Genealogist for the History Center.
