DESCRIPTION:Presented by Watts Home Center\, the Spring Home Projects Show will be held using both pavilions on Saturday\, February 17th at CityPlace in La Grange.\n\nAdmission is FREE.\n\nThe event showcases contractors and designers who are based in Oldham and surrounding counties. The intent is to get people to think "locally" and support small businesses in our area.\n\n  Attendees can get remodeling\, renovation\, landscaping and construction ideas  from many local vendors\n\n  Projects can include both indoor and outdoor spaces\n\n  Kid-friendly activities will include DIY craft projects\, Character Meet & Greet and more\n\n  Demonstrations and "How to" Sessions will be offered on various topics including interior design\, back yard planning\, and painting tips\n\nMonetary donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds\, including vendor booth fees\, are being donated to Pillar (formerly Apple Patch)\, a nonprofit organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oldham and Jefferson Counties. Some of the funds raised during the show will go towards Pillars' House 2 Home campaign. This is an effort to secure the remaining six mortgages from the lenders ensuring that people with disabilities have a safe and comfortable place to live for many years to come.
