DESCRIPTION:CityPlace Expo Center and Watts Home Center are pleased to announce the third annual Spring Home Projects Show. The popular event is returning to CityPlace after a cancellation in 2022 due to COVID.  Presented by Watts Home Center\, the Show will be held using both pavilions on Saturday\, February 18th at CityPlace in La Grange.  \n\nAdmission is free. \n\nThe event showcases contractors and designers who are based in Oldham and surrounding counties (Trimble\, Henry\, Shelby\, etc.) The intent is to get people to think "locally" and support small businesses in our area.\n\n	Attendees can get remodeling\, renovation\, landscaping and construction ideas and instruction from many local vendors   \n	Projects can include both indoor and outdoor spaces  \n	Kid-friendly activities will include face painting\, inflatables\, balloon twisting and more\n	Demonstrations and "How to" Sessions will be offered on various topics \n\nMonetary donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds\, including vendor booth fees\, are being donated to Pillar (formerly Apple Patch)\, a nonprofit organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oldham and Jefferson Counties. Services include residential\, day engagement centers\, case management\, transportation\, and clinical behavioral services. Pillar operates 17 residential homes that serve 51 clients. They are staffed 24/7 to provide support and care.
